For the interest of our clients, YnP Travel only sells China tour services from providers that offer high standard of services, so that you will have an extraordinary travel experience in China. In the following, "we" means the tour provider and "clients" means you, the consumer.

About DiverseChina

DiverseChina is a premium tour service provider based in Beijing, China. It is known for its individual taylored tours, with special attention to clients' needs. Apart from regular routes, it also provides routes that features various seasonal and special events. All tour routes provided by DiverseChina can be modified to meet your needs.

Trip routes

To ensure service quality, we (the tour service provider in China) almost never arrange any routes without survey or preview, no matter in big cities like Beijing, Shanghai, or small villages at the bottom of Kawa Karpo or even on the trek around Minya Konka.

Principally, we require all the trip associates to know the destinations well by means of traveling or enquiry to the local agency to figure out detailed aspects of the trip. For trekking or hiking tours, we will never add any new routes into available schedule until survey or preview it.

Accommodations

We carefully choose all hotels based on service, location, and characteristics in big cities, doing best to make the accommodations in the remote small places as comfortable as possible.

Meals

China is a kingdom of cuisines with various tastes. Like in Beijing, except the renowned Peking Ducks, there are quite a lot of restaurants offering so called "imperial banquet". If you like spicy food, in the hot-pot restaurants in Sichuan, you can never stop enjoying it even you get sweating.

We take dinning as an indispensable experience to clients since it is an important part in Chinese culture. Therefore, we normally do not take clients to luxurious restaurants but to non-touristy local ones which offer delicious food, with nice or interesting atmosphere. The restaurants might be simple in the country but we guarantee its sanitary and cleanliness. Or even on our trek, we encourage our cook offer client food with new tastes from day to day.

Drinks

As the quality of tap water in China varies from place to place, we recommend clients to drink bottled water throughout your trip in China, or boiled water on treks. We offer bottled water all day, and soft drinks like Coke, Sprite or Chinese Tea or if possible juice in restaurants. In simple restaurants or while camping, we offer boiled water, instant coffee, juice, or wrapped milk.

For alcohol drinks, we offer clients moderate amount of beer on meals, as determined by our guide. We also offer red or white wines or common local spirits on welcome dinner or/and farewell dinner, but not on any other meals during the journey.

Vehicles and drivers

In most destinations of China, all the roads are well paved though the traffic is quite messed up like in Beijing and Shanghai. We use proper vehicles, car, van, bus or coach in good condition based on the size of the group. We use 4WD jeeps or land cruisers only on the rough road where the other vehicles could not pass through or based on clients requirement on overland journeys or treks. We use drivers who are native or local to each travel destination and who maintain good safety records for all trips.

Shopping

We promise no compulsory shopping at any destinations throughout the entire trip. That is a big difference between us and other travel services. Our guide will not take our clients to any stores with kick-backs. If clients recommend shopping, our guide will bring clients to "transparent" stores. However, we do not encourage our clients to buy valuable goods if you are not sure about the quality. Small souvenirs are fine but you need to bargain with the vendors or store owners. Do not be too shy to bargain. You also can get lots of fun out of it and it's part of your travel experience in China!

Safety

Safety first! On any trip, we stress safety and security of consumers as the priority. We have the following measures to ensure your safty during the trip:
  • As we mention all along, we will not run any trip which have not been surveyed by our crew or local agencies.
  • All our crew will concern utmost the safe and security on each trip of our consumers.
  • Our guides at each location usually are local to that location and are familier to local safety issues.
  • Liability insurance from the provider.
