As the torch of the Paralympics was distinguished, the extra requirements imposed for the 2008 Beijing Olympics are also coming to an end. Our sources say that starting October, or even as early as next week, no flight and hotel reservations will be needed for visa applications.

At this time the details are not yet clear, since some of the "new requirements" imposed since April were actually not new -- they were there always, but just enforced more strictly. We will bring you more information as it becomes available.

1. Flight and hotel reservation no longer required (however, it is best to provide flight reservation for rush service).
2. For family visit, no need to provide kinship document.
3. Business visa no longer requires visa notificantion letter/form, but a invitation letter or a letter from your company stating the purpose of your trip is still needed.
4. Non-US citizens can now apply for multiple entry visa in US.
