3-night Hong Kong to Sanya
Sanya is on the southern end of the island Hainan. In Chinese, "hai" means "sea" and "nan" means "south", and that's how Hainan got its name. Sanya is a beautiful city with wonderful beachs. Many people compared it with Hawaii, yet they are clearly different. Geographically, Hainan was still connected to the Chinese mainland, so the landscape in Sanya is quite different from Hawaii, which was formed by volcanic activities. Sanya is a great tourist destination year round, although some people may think that June to September a little bit too hot, and January and Feburary too crowded (due to Chinese Spring Festival).
For foreign tourist, there is a Cruise line from Hong Kong to Sanya (starting from $249), which offers great value for touring southern China, including Shenzhen, Guangzhou.
